Before I developed content and built websites, I built a pharmacy. I opened a new location with zero acquisitions and grew it into a million-dollar-a-year business — no existing patient base, no shortcuts, just the work.

That meant wearing every hat on any given day: billing and insurance, staffing and scheduling, marketing decisions, training interns, building new workflows from scratch, and still delivering a high standard of patient care through all of it. Most of that isn’t something you learn in school — you learn it by doing it, under pressure, with real consequences.

Eventually I moved from management and clinical practice into medical writing and front end development — translating complex healthcare topics for publishers and businesses, bringing new ideas to a wider audience, and building systems. That shift is what led me here: a real interest in helping smaller, hands-on businesses build something of their own.

I bring that same operator’s mindset to every MWS project. I know what it’s like to have fifty things on your plate, and I build for people who are actually running a business, not just marketing one.
